Accessibility statement

Our commitment

Accessibility is built in from the start, not bolted on. We design and build around the four WCAG principles: content should beperceivable, operable, understandable and robust, and we treat WCAG 2.1 AA as the baseline for every page.

How we make this site accessible

• Semantic HTML5 landmarks so assistive technology can navigate the page structure.
• ARIA roles and labels where a native element alone is not enough, for example the contact form’s topic selector.
• Full keyboard operation, including a “Skip to content” link at the top of every page.
• Clear, visible focus indicators on every interactive element.
• Colour contrast that meets or exceeds 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text and interface elements.
• Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images, and empty alt text on decorative ones.
• Every form field paired with a visible, programmatically associated label.
• Touch targets of at least 44 by 44 pixels.
• Animation and motion that respect your “reduce motion” setting.

Known limitations

We are not currently aware of any significant accessibility barriers on this site. Notably:

• Our contact form is protected by invisible anti-spam checks, so there is no CAPTCHA or interactive challenge to complete, nothing extra to see, hear or solve.
• This site does not embed third-party PDF documents. If we ever link to older documents that pre-date our current standards, they may not be fully accessible; please contact us and we will provide the content in an alternative format.

How we test

We check accessibility with a mix of automated and manual testing:

• Automated checks with axe against the WCAG 2.1 AA ruleset during development.
• Manual keyboard-only testing of every page and interaction.
• Screen-reader testing with NVDA, JAWS and VoiceOver.

Technologies this site relies on

This site relies on HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and ARIA. It is built to work without JavaScript wherever possible; a few interactive features, such as submitting the contact form, need JavaScript enabled and offer an email fallback where they do.
